Another photo filter app from the 80s is Retro Cam. It is very simple and intuitive, but somewhat limited. This is because you cannot apply any filter live. In other words, you have to apply it on top of a photo you’ve already taken! This makes the process quite difficult, but at least it's easy to edit the photos you have on the device. It features filters to imitate analog photography from the 80s and 90s.
The best part is that, even if it has themes already prepared, you can create your own. Just use all the options it offers. And there are many! For example, it has retro and black and white, but it is also possible to add the date, add dust and even make chromatic distortion.

VSCO is probably the best-known 80s photo app out there. It works like a photo editor that has its own social network, Spaces. Here, you can share galleries, discuss the entire creative process, and get honest feedback from other users about what you've produced. This way, you can always improve your art.
The app features a wide variety of filters that have an option for every situation, including night and food photos. The downside is that the filters don't have intuitive names, they are letters and numbers. But you can understand if you spend a little time: each letter represents a brand or style, and the number tells which filter it is.
It's also simple to use VSCO to make your photos in an 80s style. Once you open the application, you will click on the square button at the bottom of the screen, and + to select the photo you want. Then just click on the adjustments icon and choose the filter. It is recommended to use one of the P1 to P9 filters, as they are the instant photo filters, the most common of the decade.
