The Brasil Sorridente program is a national oral health policy that offers free dental services in the Unified Health System (SUS) at different levels of care. The Brasil Sorridente program is a national oral health initiative that offers free dental services within the scope of the Unified Health System (SUS). It aims to ensure the promotion, prevention and recovery of the oral health of the Brazilian population.

Brasil Sorridente provides dental services in Family Health Units (USF), Health Posts, Mobile Dental Units (UOM), Dental Specialty Centers (CEO) and hospitals. Additionally, the program has Regional Dental Prosthesis Laboratories (LRPD), which collaborate in the manufacture of dental prostheses.

To use the dental services of the Brasil Sorridente program, you must look for the Family Health Unit (USF) or the nearest Health Center and register. Once registered, the user will be referred to the appropriate service.

The Brasil Sorridente program is integrated with several initiatives and programs of the Ministry of Health, such as Brasil Sorridente Indígena, aimed at indigenous populations in their villages; the Health at School Program, which promotes educational activities on oral health in public schools; the National Plan for People with Disabilities, offering access to dental services for people with disabilities, among others.
